since the latest update of DisplayFusion 5.0.0 Beta 7 the taskbar does no longer automatically adjust it's width when I snap/unsnap a Metro/Modern UI App.
After a very long time the taskbar does recognize that I snapped a Metro/Modern UI App on, meanwhile the taskbar does overlap with the snapped app or is too short whenever I switched back to full desktop only.
Whenever I make any changes to the taskbar, for example changing it's size, it'll then automatically fix it's width according to the current screen size.
There is also another way to fix the width issue: All you need to do is click on the hidden icons button in your system tray (on your normal Windows taskbar).
It seems to be working ok for me. When it won't automatically resize for you, can you check the Settings > Troubleshooting tab, and see if there are any applications listed in the "FullScreen Applications" section? If there are, could you copy/paste the line(s) here?
Yea, there are some fullscreen applications running, for example VLC
I believe you guys are not updating the DF taskbars whether there is an fullscreen application running, for example a game, to save some resources, or maybe there are some problems, however, this is not that cool if you're "just" running VLC or something like that and still work on your other monitors.
I just tested it for a couple of days and it worked fine so far. Think I'll keep it enabled whether the performance impact while playing games and alt+tabbing all the time out isn't too high.
