Recently upgraded to Windows 11 and in DF version "Display Fusion Pro on Steam 11.1.1 Windows 11 (24H2) [26100.4946], none of my taskbars have that up arrow to open the system tray to show background apps.

Could you send me a debug log as well? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and then click "Clear Log"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Hello, here is the attached log file. Unfortunately, this is a constant issue with DF and occurs the moment it runs on my PC so I do not have any specific time to give.

Thanks for sending that over. It looks like DisplayFusion is failing to hook into the taskbar. Do you have any other third party taskbar apps that may be interfereing, or any anti-virus programs installed that could be blocking it?

Yes, I had this program called Taskbar Magic enabled on startup to hide the Windows taskbar. Disabling it fixed the system tray issue. Do you know of a way to hide the windows taskbar through DF?

Ah yeah, we need to see the Windows taskbar to grab the icons. Unfortunately that's not something we support, sorry!
