DF Pro 11.0 B3 Steam
Win10 22H2 (19045.4170)

I just updated from DF10 to the beta and this behaviour seems new.
When I drag/open an app window to my 2nd monitor and it is maximised, it'll stay on the taskbar of my main monitor - not all apps, though.
My taskbar settings:
[x] Enable Multi-Monitor Taskbars
Taskbar Mode: All taskbars show relevant windows

This only happens when the app is maximised. If it's a non-fullscreen window on my 2nd monitor, the app will disappear from my main taskbar. When I max. it again it'll reappear.
I've read this Can't Fix: Taskbar buttons for Universal apps remain on the Windows taskbar when the app is moved to another monitor.
I'm not sure, though, if this applies to the relevant apps, also I've never experienced this behaviour before with DF10. All apps are manual installs (exe/msi) or automatic installs via WinGet, nothing of that from the Windows Store.
Apps like the windows settings or store do as described for UWP, they always stay on the main taskbar, regardless if maximised or not.

To give you a better idea when this happens I tried every app I could think of.
This happens with (all in case of maximised windows, never windowed): Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Paint.net, Discord, Spotify, VSCode, MusicBee, GOG Galaxy, Windows Terminal, Obsidian

Doesn't happen with (as in expected behaviour, only show on the bar where the app is shown): Windows Explorer, Everything (the search engine), Calibre, Notepad++, Steam, Battle.net, nvidia Profile Inspector (admin), 7zip, Sumatra pdf, IrfanView, BeyondCompare4, Kodi

Completely weird: Aida64 (admin) - only shows on 2nd taskbar when dragged there. When dragged back to main, won't show on main bar again (only 1st time when launched there), but disappears on 2nd bar. When dragged to 2nd again, reappears on 2nd bar.

As said, not sure if this is due to the mentioned "UWP can't fix" or if this is something different. I guess the latter, since this didn't happen in DF10.

We had another customer report this on our latest beta but we can't seem to reproduce it on our end. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Here's the debug info. I redacted some private information, but nothing of relevance.

Thanks for sending that over. Could you send me a debug log as well? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log
