I don't know if my last post went through. If this is a repeat, please disregard.

Hi:

I'm not sure this feature exists, but I'll give it a shot. Here's my use case:

I currently have a single monitor desktop, and I run an HDMI cable to the TV if I want to display what's on the desktop. I have two profiles - one for when I'm using the monitor, and one for when I'm using the TV. Currently, I have my desktop set up so that when there is no activity for 10 minutes, the monitor goes dark and a password is required to unlock. When I switch over to the TV, this behavior persists, which is to be expected.

I would like to have it so that when I switch to the TV, I can set up the screensaver options to have the monitor go dark more quickly, and so that it no longer requires a password to unlock. If I were to then switch back to the desktop monitor profile, the previous behavior (go dark after 10 minutes, password required) would revert as expected. As it stands, I have to change the behavior manually whenever I switch profiles.

Is there an easy way to set this up/does this already exist? If not, what would be the easiest way to go about this?

Thanks!

It might be possible to do this with a Scripted Function actually. We'll try to write up an example one for you to try out :)
