I'd like to use a different program to manage wallpapers but every time it sets the wallpaper, DF sets it back.

I don't see the disable wallpaper option in the settings...

I was just asking myself the same question.
Can't seem to go back and let Windows handle wallpapers.
If I change the wallpaper in Windows from Display Fusion to, e.g. solid color, the solid color is applied and it works as expected.
However, I had random images setup in DF and it seems in the same time intervals as DF would have switched background images it now changes my wallpaper settings from solid color back to Display Fusion.

I managed to work my way around it by creating a new wallpaper profile in DF just using a solid color there but it worries me a little that there doesn't seem to be a checkbox 'Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Wallpaper' like there are for all the other functions it can take over.

Win7 x64, DF 4.0

Hi guys! In the Wallpaper Settings (button at the bottom of the DisplayFusion Wallpaper window), if you disable the last two options ("Warn me" and "Fix without asking"), DisplayFusion will no longer attempt to set the wallpaper after it's been changed by Windows or another program.

Thanks!

I think users will be happier with the option to completely disable wallpaper functions....

For example...

I unchecked "Warn me" and "Fix without asking" options a few days ago. Today I double clicked on the display fusion icon and got an error about the image that was set. This is unexpected behavior... and besides... this should have opened the global settings.

Thanks.

Sorry about that! I should have mentioned that you can also clear all of the wallpaper settings using the "Use Default Options" button on the Wallpaper configuration window. We're also planning to add the ability to customize which window gets launched by default when clicking the tray icon in the future.

Edit: I just found a bug where clicking the Use Default Options button will set monitor 1 to Single Image, and then complain that there's no image selected. We'll get that all fixed up for 4.0.1 Beta 5. In the mean time, you just need to change it to Solid Colour.

Thanks!
