I have a 49" ultrawide. I downloaded DisplayFusion to use the monitor split feature.

The monitor has a resolution of 5120x1440, but DisplayFusion is detecting it as 3840x1080. When I go to the Split configuration, it won't let me specify the height and width with numbers greater than what it's detecting.

This might be relevant, but I wasn't able to set the resolution with native Windows. I have to use the Intel Graphics Command Center. But once I do that, Windows detects it properly.

Hi Peter,

Is the maximum resolution you can set in native windows 3840x1080 as well?

Thanks!

Hi, see my follow-ups. It is now correctly detecting the resolution since I changed cables. My problem now is that it won't let me save the split configuration.

Hi Peter,

Strange, is it throwing an error when trying to split your monitor?

Thanks!

Yes, I get the error when I hit Save. I cannot get it to split. It did an auto-split so currently, it's split in 2, but I can't make any custom changes.
