I started using open shell and straight away noticed that when its running, Display Fusion doesn't re position all my windows accuratly apon waking up from sleep, they are always in a rough ballpark, off by 1-2cm.
So is this a known compatability issue between the two? Is there some known fix or settings I can try in both apps?

It definitely could be a conflict, OpenShell might be adjusting the work area slightly. Does the issue go away if you remove it?

Hi, the issue goes away if I simply close out Open Shell. It also does this on my small laptop with the latest version of DisplayFusion.
Strange! Are you using Window Position Profiles, or just saving/restoring with the default functions in the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab?
