Since the most recent major release, the "Display Fusion Photos" slideshow screen-saver no longer works with arrow-key navigation. Previously, I was able to navigate between images when the screen saver was engaged by double-tapping the left or right arrow key. (Not sure if this was intended behavior, but the navigation input would not take effect until the next transition tick.)
The current behavior immediately exits the screen-saver when I press ANY key, including the left and right arrow keys. I'd like to have the arrow key functionality fixed.
For reference I use the screen saver only on my primary monitor, while my secondary monitor is set to "Blank".
Fix Requests
- Restore arrow key functionality with "Display Fusion Photos" screen-saver.
- If previous arrow key behavior is restored, (and tick behavior was unintended) please also change image switch behavior to occur immediately instead of at the next tick.
Feature Requests
- I'd like to see the option to switch between images in the "Display Fusion Photos" screen-saver with a single arrow key press.
- Additionally, would like to have the option to immediately exit the screen saver and open the image location+select the image icon (maybe by pressing the up or down arrow key).
- I don't currently use "Display Fusion Photos" on both monitors, but for people who do, it would be nice to have similar functionality for a secondary or tertiary screen. (Cleanest implementation I can think of would be to control individual screens via holding a corresponding number key and then pressing an arrow key.)
