I just updated to beta 23 and am encountering a new issue.
I have a 2 monitor setup, with a multimonitor taskbar on the second monitor with the Start button disabled on it. After upgrading to beta 23, the leftmost application entry on the taskbar can't be clicked and doesn't highlight when hovered over. The next entries respond normally.
Enabling the Start button on the taskbar moves everything one place to the right and then everything works normally. Confirmed by rolling back to beta 22, then all entries work the same even without the Start button.

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Sure, they're attached. I trust that they're properly removed afterwards (considering the private information it contains)?

Thanks for sending that over. Are you using any other 3rd party taskbar apps to increase the height/width of your taskbar?

I use StartAllBack to configure the main taskbar, but it's set to 'never combine' and small icon size. Been using it like this for many months, the new large vertical taskbar buttons appeared since last beta.

If you change it back to normal icon sizes, and restart DisplayFusion, does that fix it up?

Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them via the DisplayFusion Settings > Options > Export Settings

I couldn't find a topic about beta 26 so, i'm posting here:

The arrow to open the system tray is gone, at least on secondary screens.

Do you have any other third party apps installed to control your taskbar?

StarAllBack, but nothing affecting the tray
Besides, StarAllBack only affects my main screen bar which is fine. The only issue i have is on secondary monitors which are only affected by DisplayFusion

DisplayFusion gets the system tray info from the Windows taskbar, so running StartAllBack will break this. It's on our list to look into, so we'll let you know if we have any news on it going forward.
