Have it been tested with a vertical taskbar?
The "show desktop" button, clock and start menu are now square, their height is the same as taskbar width, also start button is now above tray and clock

This version seems to have an issue for me on Windows 11.
The taskbar keeps updating causing windows to move and the taskbar to disappear in my outside zones

I'm experiencing weird issues with my taskbar on my other monitors. The taskbar appears, and then disappears and none of the apps that are open on the 2nd/3rd monitor appear as open in the taskbar.
For context I run my taskbar at the top of my screen.

I have the same problem with Windows 11 - taskbars for monitor 2 and 3 come and go and are not functional. Had no problems with Beta 4.

Same problem with taskbar. Where can I download Beta 4 to resolve the taskbar issue for the time being?
Edit: downgraded via chocolatey, back to working fine again

Hello,
I just upgraded to beta 5, and my taskbars on my second screen are disappearing and reappearing continuously - is there a way to revert back to beta 4?

Rolling back to beta 4 - if anyone else needs to do the same I found the link: https://binaryfortressdownloads.com/Download/BFSFiles/101/DisplayFusionSetup-10.0-Beta4.exe

Also got several issues with Win10. Taskbar keeps reloading, is missing my settings and overall cost me half an hour to resolve again :D Trying the revert now
Edit: Reverting and loading backup settings from before the update worked perfectly fine for me, I hope the new issues can be found and fixed soon :) For me it was mostly an issue with windows not showing up on my "second" screen (1 ultra wide split into 2)

Hello,

@V@no Could you send me over a screenshot of those vertical taskbar issues? Was this happening with beta 4?

@StripeyHorse Could you send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

@Laurie Street & @Olympicchicken Could you also send me over a debug log?

Thanks!

My second screen is missing it's taskbars. It's a screen in portrait, split into top and bottom halves with vertical taskbars on the right side of it. Both are set to auto-hide. It was absolutely fine in the previous beta.

The same thing happened to me - my second screen is an ultrawide 3440x1440, I had multiple splits (horizontal and vertical), and after installing beta5 the taskbar disappeared and would intermittently flash back for a few seconds but be unresponsive.
I've since rolled-back to beta4 and everything is fine as was before the update.

I'm having a similar issue. I have a 49" monitor divided into 3. I'm just seeing 1 task bar, with the icons all the way to the right. If I open the DisplayFusion settings, I can sometimes get it to switch to just treating the middle monitor as the only monitor, with nothing on Monitors 1 and 3. But as soon as I exit the app, it goes back.

Attached is a screenshot of my 3 monitor setup, all using vertical taskbars.
  • The Start Menu button is no longer in the bottom left corner
  • The clock is no longer at the top, but now the bottom
  • I have HUGE volume and network icons above the clock
I am on Windows 11, and use AllIsBack (the StartIsBack for Win11). I was using Start11, but it like Start10 could never get it together on placement or load times.

I rolled back to Beta 4. Here's the screenshot of my setup using Beta 4.
It should be noted that Beta 4 caused some of my taskbar tweaks to be lost:
  • Clock text color was green
  • Spacing above and below clock text has been lost
I saved my old taskbar settings to a registry file, so I could change my taskbars dependent upon whether I am at home or work and which monitors I have when my laptop is docked... restoring the old taskbar settings in Beta 4 did not bring back the aforementioned customizations.

I'm having the same issues with disappearing taskbars and would also like to roll back to Beta 4. Is the installer available somewhere?

I couldn't find Beta 4 anywhere, so I checked my system restore and as luck would have it, I had a point before I installed Beta 5. So, I'm back on Beta 4 and everything is glorious but aside from using a restore point, I was stumped.
EDIT: At least someone found it. Excellent.
