We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.1 Beta 1 is available for download! This release fixes a few issues that were discovered after the release of DisplayFusion 9.0.

DisplayFusion 9.1 Beta 1 Highlights

  • This build uses a new code signing certificate. If prompted by Windows SmartScreen when launching the first time, it is safe to ignore.
  • Fixed a major memory/thread leak.
  • Fixed an issue with Wallpaper Abyss not retaining its settings in slideshow mode.
  • A few other minor fixes and changes.

Tried the monitor fading, and it works fine, but the percentage slider is based on opacity instead of transparency. Maybe it's just me, but my first inclination was to think of the slider as a dimmer, where 100% would be full brightness, and 0% would be black.

Maybe it makes more sense if you pick a color other than black, because then the intensity of the color would be increasing with the slider. I'm not sure I'd ever use anything except black.

The new splash screen looks nice, and more current. Also like the blue/gold scheme on the settings menu.
