DisplayFusion 9.4 Beta 5 Now Available!

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.4 Beta 5 is now available for download! This beta fixes a bunch of issues and adds a couple of minor features.

Important Notes!

  • The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab, it might be very slow to open due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan

DisplayFusion 9.4 Beta 5 Highlights

  • Resolved an issue from Beta 4 where the Desktop Wallpaper feature wasn't respecting monitor splits
  • Added a new mirroring function for mirroring a specific area on the screen (Settings > Functions > Mirror Selected Area)
  • Resolved an issue where taskbar buttons stayed on the DisplayFusion taskbar on other virtual desktops
  • Fixed a text colour issue in dialog boxes when using High Contrast themes in Windows 10
  • Updated Unsplash provider for their new API (they've removed curated collections)
  • Default location for the "Web Images" folder (temp location for downloaded wallpapers) is now %localappdata%\DisplayFusion\Web Images (this can be changed using the "Override Web Images Folder" option in the Advanced Settings window)
  • Chrome no longer has gaps around it when maximized to splits
  • The "Window Focused" Trigger Event is more reliable now
  • New scripting function for getting the window under the mouse (BFS.Window.GetWindowUnderMouse)
  • Various other stability and performance fixes
