In DisplayFusion 9.7 Beta 10,

If position is negative, the window position and size are not assigned to the specified value.

If you specify the position or size of the window with a size that is larger than the size of the sub monitor set above the main monitor, it seems that you try not to overflow.

Which feature are you referring to here? Is it Window Position Profiles?

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

As well as a backup of your settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

Thanks!

Yes, it is Windows Position Profiles.

I attached a debug information file.

Thank you.

Thanks! Could you attach a screenshot showing the values for one of the entries that isn't working?

By using the Window Position Profile, the Google Chrome YouTube window was moved to a specific location so that the Title Bar and Windows Border were hidden. It goes up a little bit, not the Y position I specified.

Could you check the Documents\DisplayFusion Backups folder for a backup files that says "WindowPositionProfileUpdate" in the brackets?

Also, is the position off by a lot, or just by a few pixels?

I attached the registry file.

he location to be moved is not constant. The lower part of the window and the main monitor are shifted to a margin of 20 pixels.

Could you also attach a screenshot of what the window looks like after you load the profile?

The left side is the position of the window that was operating. Right is the behavior in DisplayFusion 9.7 Beta 10.

Perfect, thanks for the screenshots! We should have a fix for this in Beta 11. There will be some extra steps to fix it up so I will let you know when it's ready to try out.

Ok, we've just posted 9.7 Beta 11, could you give it a try and let me know how it works out?

Thanks!
