We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 15 is now available for download! This version fixes a Chrome Window Snapping issue, a Windows 7 CPU usage issue, and a few other minor things.

Important Notes!

  • The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab after installing this version, it will be very slow to open, due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan.
  • If the auto-updater fails to run, please try disabling your anti-virus before running the updater.

DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 15 Highlights

  • Fix: Resolved an issue where Wallpaper Image Info was only showing on right-most split
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where too many monitors show up in Monitor Configuration on some systems
  • Fix: Resolved a high CPU usage issue in Windows 7
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where Royal TS wasn't maximizing to splits
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with Unsplash, Facebook, Reddit, and Dropbox wallpaper providers
  • Fix: SlimJet browser no longer moves both windows to the next monitor when tearing out a tab
  • Fix: Windows now properly maximize to full monitor when doing Shift + Maximize on a window maximized to a split

Neither Open Wallpaper Image in web browser or File Exploer on the Dispaly Fusion desktop context menu work in this version. I see the Display Fusion logo flash then nothing.
If I go into the Dispaly Fusion wallpaper settings dialog first then they work as expected.
