We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 18 is now available for download! This version fixes a mouse hooks regression from Beta 17, and a couple of other minor issues.

Important Notes!

  • The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab after installing this version, it will be very slow to open, due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan.
  • If the auto-updater fails to run, please try disabling your anti-virus before running the updater.

DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 18 Highlights

  • Fix: Questrade child windows now maximize to splits when dragging again
  • Fix: Mouse wrapping and prevent snagging now working again
  • Fix: Microsoft Teams button no longer stuck on primary monitor after minimize/restore

Updating DisplayFusion

We encourage everyone to update to this new version today to take advantage of these improvements. If you've already purchased DisplayFusion, it's a lifetime license, so you can upgrade to this version at no cost! If you would like to see a complete list of all the changes, please visit the DisplayFusion Beta Change Log.

There seems to be bug with opera Beta. Whenever I search for sites in the address bar they list in adjacent Monitor. Also windows in secondary monitor stays the same when changing windows virtual desktop.

I can't seem to reproduce the Opera issue, could you attach a backup of your settings (Settings > Options > Export)?

For the other issue, this is a known issue caused by removing buttons from the Windows taskbar. You can work around it by setting the Taskbar Mode on the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab to "Windows taskbar shows all, DisplayFusion shows relevant."

Thanks!

Please see attached screenshot and files. Could be because I have different resolution monitors? 4k-2k-4k Setup.

Thanks! I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the settings. Could you send over a debug log as well?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! The debug log doesn't indicate that DisplayFusion is moving the address bar search in Opera, and I can't reproduce it here using your monitor setup and settings backup. If you exit DisplayFusion, does it still happen?
