A recent AVG and Avast antivirus update is preventing DisplayFusion 9.9 from launching on some systems.
If you're running into this issue, please update to the latest DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta.

DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 5 Now Available!

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 5 is now available for download! This version fixes some issues with restoring window positions on different DPI setups, as well as with Citrix Published Apps. It also resolves an issue with the Questrade trading app when using Monitor Splitting.

Important Notes!

  • The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab after installing this version, it will be very slow to open, due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan.
  • If the auto-updater fails to run, please try disabling your anti-virus before running the updater.

DisplayFusion 9.7.0 Beta 5 Highlights

  • Change: Added a new option to ignore minimized windows when loading Window Position Profiles
  • Change: New Function: Restore Window Positions from Last Save (ignore minimized)
  • Change: Added the ability to filter the list on the Settings > Window Position Profiles tab
  • Fix: Microsoft Teams taskbar button now gets removed when it's closed to the tray
  • Fix: Window Position Profiles and Trigger rules now work correctly with Citrix Published Apps
  • Fix: Window Position Profiles now restore windows correctly when they're restored to a monitor with a different scaling level
  • Fix: Questrade app now works with Monitor Splitting

In Beta 5, I'm now seeing an issue never seen before where my Teams icon moves to the main monitor when I start a meeting, and shows as not open (but pinned) to the secondary task bar.

@Steve: We are able to reproduce that now as well and we've put it on our list to fix for Beta 6 :)

@Keith - With all this work from home due to the c-virus, I'm using Teams alot more than normal and this bug is really annoying. Can you give me a link to Beta 4 so I can downgrade to that whilst you guys prepare Beta 6?

Want to report that beta 5 has weird window position restoration issues.
I'm using the Functions "Save Window Positions" and "Restore Window Positions From Last Save" because of the DWM issue with multiple monitors smashing all my windows onto one screen.

With beta 5, the window sizes and positions are not right. Almost every window is resized too large.

Just confirmed that downgrading to Beta4 via the link in this post that it does not happen in Beta4.
