I noticed that everything on my computer started to periodically stutter for half a sec. Mouse would stop moving or skip several frames, and the programs i'd be using would do the same.

I looked at my task manager and noticed every time it happened, DisplayFusion or DisplayFusionSettings had jumped to the top of the list cpu usage list every 60 seconds.

I closed it and everything was fine. Re started it and its still doing it.

I am on Windows 10 with 7.2 Beta 6.

Any thoughts?

EDIT bah, removing this edit. Thought I fixed it. Problem still happening.

Hello, we have had another person report a very similar issue (high CPU every 60 seconds). Can you email into support and we can set you up with a test build? You can email support@displayfusion.com and just reference this topic. Thanks! :)

I think it must have been on Microsofts end with Windows 10? It randomly started one day, and has now randomly fixed itself.

I didnt pay attention when it updated, but I got a few Windows 10 updates since this post and just noticed its not happening now.

That was on Beta 6 too. Just got Beta 7 update. Sill works fine as far as I have noticed.

So I dunno if you still need me to email support or not.

Nope! If it's all good now, there won't be much to see. Thanks for letting us know it's fixed, we'll check with the other fellow as well :)

Another new build another bug.

Actually.. its doing the exact same thing...

60 seconds, system stutters, DisplayFusion jumps up the list.

So whatever MS is doing seems to be the cause at first thought, maybe they'll fix it again?

Quick question, what kind of video card do you have in your system? Is it an NVIDIA card?

yeah, a 960.

and guess what...its gone again...

It really was doin the exact same thing, causing everything, including the mouse to skip frames, and the CPU monitor kept showing displayfusion for some reason every 60 seconds on the dot.

Most of the time I manually install video card drivers, I dont recall updating that lately when this was happening... And with windows 10 preview.. it just does what it wants when it wants to.

SO i dunno! next time ill wait a few days, lol.

I actually had this happen to me today as well! But it seemed that any application that used even a little bit of CPU caused the mouse to stutter. I closed DisplayFusion as soon as it happened, but I was still getting the stutter with DisplayFusion closed. Seems like a Windows 10 bug for sure, hopefully it'll be fixed in the next build :)
