I run a 6-monitor setup on Windows 10 with a daemon production server that hosts our website, sunstatehvac.com. At the end of the day I turn the monitors off, and in the morning when they power back on Windows tends to move windows and tabs all over the place, which is why I purchased DisplayFusion about 3 weeks ago and finally recently installed it.

At first everything seemed to be working fine. However, during a Google Workspace MX/Gmail activation/setup process, I clicked a CONFIRM button and at that exact moment several strange things happened simultaneously:

* Redis immediately began shutting down on its CMD window
* I lost control of several open windows/tabs
* Some application windows disappeared entirely
* General desktop/window instability occurred

Although I was able to recover after a restart, the timing was concerning enough that I’m hesitant to reinstall DisplayFusion until I better understand what may have happened.

I realize the Google Workspace action itself may not have directly caused the issue, but the event occurred at the exact same moment and only after DisplayFusion had been installed.

If anyone has experienced similar multi-monitor/window-management instability, especially involving server processes, disappearing windows, or tab/session issues, I’d appreciate hearing about it.

Best,

JoeMark

P.S. This system also uses mixed NVIDIA cards and mixed monitor resolutions across 6 displays, in case that helps narrow down possible causes.
