Bit of an odd one here, I run Display fusion on 2 pcs, one is fine and the other seems to have developed an issue.

Every time I boot up, displayfusion doesnt load. If I try to load if from the programs folder it fails with the error 'Cannot access the file, you may not have the appropriate permissions'

If I then re-install the app, it installs and then loads and runs find for that session, but after a reboot I am back in the same boat again with it not running.

Anyone had this issue? I am running Win10 and have tried the latest stable and beta versions of Displayfusion with no luck

Thanks

Richard

I've never come across that error before! Could you attach a screenshot of it?

Wow, I've definitely never seen that one before. If you check the Security tab in the Properties for DisplayFusion.exe, is your user account listed with full access?

That headed me in the right direction, thanks.

Rights were a bit screwed up and when I tried to change the, I got an error about the ACL being invalid. Further investigation led me to a utility to repair the ACL on the program files (x86) folder which seems to have sorted it.

Thanks for your help
