This is an intermittent problem, not happening every time.
I included an example from the client.

They have been using this for years, since they run multi-monitor and this allows to use it effectively on the RDP connection. Sadly the toolbars/ribbons from programs end up like displayed in the attached picture, multiple times a day.

Is there an easy or even known fix for this?

We tried the usual - updating drivers, checking for issues with hardware, but sadly nothing comes up for the particular intel hardware that accounts for this issue.
We have registered the issue back since version 9.7, updated to 9.8 last week to see if it fixed the issue, attached image is from this week.

I will add that this is not just special ui software like chrome or office programs but even explorer windows. All their software regardless of it being microsoft native apps or 3rd party software have the issue, again, intermittently.

Hello,

Strange, does this issue only happen while DisplayFusion is running? Is DisplayFusion installed on the host machine, or the machine you are remoting into?

Thanks!

Hi Owen,

Displayfusion is installed on the RDP server, a windows 2019 server.
Only users that use the displayfusion functionality, see the issue.

The client computer does not have it installed, as far as I am aware.

Hello,

If you open up the DisplayFusion Advanced Settings window and disable application hooks, does the issue persist?

Thanks!

I will set up a test with the client and get back to you. Due to public holiday, this will not be until next week.

I suspect the client will notice as moving a maximized windows is turned off by this. We will see :)
