Hi Guys

I have been experiencing random crashes for a while now, over a number of versions but I have finally figured out what the problem is.

When I have adobe photoshop in the other (not the main task bar) window after a period of time that task bar becomes unresponsive and I have to force it to close.

It does not become unresponsive if I have any other programme on it, or if photoshop is on the 'main' screen. This was the case with CS4 and is still the case with CS5. I have gone through all the beta versions of DF.

Attached is the log, hopefully that makes sense!

Thank you for your help

Jamie

Hi Jon

Many thanks for your prompt attention.

I have installed the beta and been running it for 2 hours without problems, I would usually have had to restart DF a couple of times by now.

If I experience the problem again, I will let you know!

Thank you again!

I'm tacking on to this topic because I suspect the problem lies with Adobe. I've just installed DF on trial, and I love it! But Adobe's Photoshop Elements 7 doesn't behave properly. Firstly, the Organiser bit doesn't show the DF monitor change button. And secondly, the Editor portion of Elements 7 opens over-size in my secondary monitor, obscuring its menu bar so I can't resize it etc. Tapping Alt-Spacebar brings up the usual windows title bar menu, but it's greyed out...

Yet every other program I've tried has the DF button in the windows title bar, opens and works impeccably with DF on my dual monitors and my workspace is greatly enhanced. So if a solution ever appears, I would be greatly relieved!

Photoshop has been known to sometimes not move correctly with DisplayFusion, but please give the new Beta 8 a try. Beta 9 will have even more window moving improvements, it should be released in a couple of days.

I have the same issue with DF 3.2.0 Pro where it crashes after or during the usage of Photoshop CS5. So far I've only seen it happen with Photoshop, I used Acrobat Pro and no issues presented.

I'm attaching the log, let me know if I should run any other tests or provide another log.
