Well, once again I lied. Beta 15 wasn't the last beta, and Beta 16 might not be either. I had to make a few small changes:
- Fixed minor alignment issue in the Settings > Wallpaper window
- Fixed a minor taskbar thread locking issue
- Fixed a taskbar button margins miscalculation that caused text to be 2 pixels outside the button on the right
- Shows tooltips for items in the "randomly change using images from my computer" listbox
- Taskbar application compatibility improvement (works better with Mein Geld 2009 and others now)
- Fixed the taskbar button text colour for all themes (XP Silver, hacked themes... etc)
- Fixed a logging issue that prevented logging in rare situations

If you aren't prompted to upgrade you can download Beta 16 from here:
http://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?package=displayfusion&beta=1

6 out of 10 language files are now compatible with Beta 16. English and German are 'core' languages and are included in the installer. I have attached 4 'extra' languages to this post for testing with Beta 16. I am still waiting on the Dutch, French and Russian translations, but they're nearly complete. Also, I haven't heard from the Spanish translator in a little while now, and the Spanish translation isn't started yet. :( If you know of anyone who might be interested in helping with the Spanish translation please have them contact me.

Thanks, and happy testing!

Looking good, thanks!

If you need help with the Dutch translation, I'm from the Netherlands so let me know. :)

Hi Peter, thank you for the generous offer. If you are interested in doing a few translations, I have attached the the remaining phrases to this post. If you decide to tackle it you can either re-post it here or just email it to me directly.

Thanks!

You are most welcome, and downloaded the file, I'll look at it right away. :)

/update: did the first 300 lines, most of the sentences were correct, but showed little errors like typo's or silly translations. I also corrected all of the capital letters for consistency. (In one part the word 'wallpaper' was written with a capital halfway a sentence, and later on it was not, so I corrected that too).

Will continue to work on this tomorrow.

It's a great product, and I can't find any bugs. However, there are still two things keeping me from using it over Ultramon.

1. Transparency in the DF taskbar.
2. Auto-hide the DF taskbar.

Currently the latest 3.0.4 beta of Ultramon does both of those things. I'd much rather support you, so it makes it a hard decision! Anyway, I suppose these are more feature requests rather than bugs.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the support. If UltraMon does what you need it to do, then I have no issue with you using it instead of DisplayFusion. :) I know DisplayFusion still isn't perfect, and I've got a long "to do" list for v2.4. Auto-hiding is one of the items on my list, along with better Windows 7 support and a taskbar clock. v2.3 is a good start for the taskbar at least, but nowhere near complete yet. :)

Hi Jon,

I spend all day working on the Dutch translation and by the looks of it I got all phrases you attached correct. Changed quite a bit, but everything should be consistent now and translated as far as I can tell. Don't know if you've got any more Dutch / Belgian users who are willing to overlook the translation, just to double check things? Better be safe than sorry I always say.

Cheers!

/Edit: Removed the out-dated attachment because of an update.

I would just add that Ultramon is ridiculously over-priced for what you get. DF rocks! It's great to be in on the ground floor of this great app. I'm an old hack-programmer and how you can even get a 2nd monitor task bar working boggles my mind... :|

Anyway, we're all behind ya Jon...

Don't know if I'm allowed to post language files here? So I send the Dutch translation to Jon by mail. :)
