I am very happy to announce the immediate release of DisplayFusion v3.0 Beta 19. This is an important bug-fix release that takes care of a number of regression bugs, along with some long standing annoyances.

- Fixed taskbar button icon sizing issues in certain applications
- Fixed errors where DF was unable to get an application's icon
- Fixed an error where DF kept adding a button to the taskbar without removing the old one first
- Fixed an error that prevented hotkeys with only 1 modifier from being created
- Wallpaper window no longer briefly appears when auto-fixing the wallpaper

Important Note: You will NEED to reset your hotkeys if you previously installed Beta 18. If you are upgrading from a version older than Beta 18 you will be fine. Beta 18 messed up some of the hotkey settings. Just go into the Settings window and click the "Reset HotKeys" button.

If you aren't prompted to update you can download the new version from here:

Thanks everyone!

The issue I had with the previous version was fixed and also the icon on the button appears to stay. Thanks :)

Jon - first time issue for me - I get 5 error messages when starting DF in W7 x86-64 Build 7000 - Failed to set Hot keys:

Win + Down
Win + Left
Win + Right
Win + Up
Win + R

But it makes sense as these have specified functions in W7 already:

Win + Down - minimize
Win + Left - Dock to left of monitor
Win + Right - Dock to right of monitor
Win + Up - Maximize
Win + R - Run command (this one should have given me errors all along, as well as with every Vista and XP user as Win + R has always been the Run command....

EDIT: Added the following: FIxed - see http://www.binaryfortress.com/Forum/index.php?topic=693.msg2363#msg2363

Sorry about that - Beta 18 was a bit of a train wreck when it came to the default hotkeys. Everything is better in Beta 19 once you fix them though.

yup - I had forgotten the default was CTRL + Win + {key} - as soon as I it reset, though, I saw it and had a light bulb moment....
