I purchased DF via Steam some time ago and it has worked wonderfully up until now. I can launch the program through Steam but it does not even open a process. I found a thread on here recommending I download from the website directly and that launches a process that lasts a second or two.

What is the next step in resolving this? Thank you in advance.
