Paul Chalmers' profile on WallpaperFusion.com
Hi Team/Community

Wondering if DisplayFusion has (or is considering) functionality where I can 'dock' a windows in a given position (usually the edge of a monitor) with a 'stay on top' type attribute, and have other windows maximise in the remaining space (i.e. without manually resizing to the remaining space).

I've used Windows Position Profiles to achieve the default layout but its not particularly adaptive or dynamic when I change workspaces ... essentially I want my SkypeforBusiness windows permanently docked on one side or the other and have other windows maximise in the remaining space.

Any suggestions or alternives?

Paul

You could use Monitor Splitting to do this.

One thing I would suggest with this kind of setup, where you have a very narrow split, is disable everything in the "Use these featuers with split monitors" section, except for the "Window Management" checkbox.

Hope that helps!
