Hi, I've got a problem trying to apply wallpaper to logon/lock screens.

I go into "Settings >> Windows Logon >>
Enable "Allow DisplayFusionto manage the Windows Logon Background" and
Enable "Use the current Desktop Wallpaper image for the Windows Logon Background".

When I click on Apply, i'm prompted for the UAC, so I give it my domain admin credentials and then i'm prompted with two error messages. Both of which are attached.

It's Windows 7 Professional 64bit, running as a non admin, UAC on, then using domain admin credentials to elelvate when necessary
I've just updated to 4.0, and restarted my PC after doing so.

Any ideas why this is not working?

I tried giving "Users" and "Domain_Users" modify access to;
"C:\windows\System32\oobe\INFO\backgrounds\backgrounddefault.jpg"
but it didn't seem to ake a difference.

Could you try moving all of the files out of the "C:\windows\System32\oobe\INFO\backgrounds" folder? Some OEM's put images there and it seems to mess up DisplayFusion. After emptying that folder, the Windows Logon Background should apply correctly.

Thanks!

Yep that sorted it.

I created a C:\windows\System32\oobe\INFO\temp folder and moved all the backgrounds to it, and now it's being applied properly.

I've no idea how you worked out that solution, but thanks :-)

Excellent, glad to hear it! I went through a lot of trial and error with another customer before we finally found that solution :)
