I have 3 monitors, the middle one is set as a primary one in Windows.
The only game that I have this issue is Escape from Tarkov. When it's minimised and I click on its icon on the task bar of a non-primary monitor it maximises on the leftmost monitor instead of the primary one. Can this be fixed somehow? Happens in DF 9.7.1 and was happening in some older 9.x version too 26 days ago (modified 26 days ago)

Hello,
Strange! Do you have any triggers to fire on the Escape From Tarkov window when it's focused? Thanks! 26 days ago

Quote: Hello, Strange! Do you have any triggers to fire on the Escape From Tarkov window when it's focused? Thanks! No, I have triggers completely disabled. Also this happens only if the game is in fullscreen mode. Borderless is fine, but it has worse FPS. UPD: Also it stops happening if I disable DF's multimonitor task bar and use the Windows' multi taskbar instead. 26 days ago (modified 25 days ago)

Hello,
Interesting note about the taskbars. If you open up the Display Fusion settings and head to the Compatibility tab, can you add in the game and check off "Disable Display Fusion Taskbars while this application is running", and see if the issue persists? Thanks! 24 days ago

Thanks! Well, I did that, and when I open the game, taskbars on different monitors disappear. I can no longer click on the game icon on other monitors to maximize it. I can't test my issue because of that. Clicking the icon on my main monitor works and worked fine before though. 24 days ago (modified 24 days ago)

Hello,
Ah sorry, my mistake, I mistyped the setting. Can you try enabling "Force Display Fusion to treat this as a full screen application", and see if the issue persists? Full screen games should natively open on the primary monitor set in windows, so it sounds like Display Fusion isn't recognizing it as full screen. Let's try to enable that and see if it works (you can disable the setting I mentioned in my last post as well). If that doesn't work, could you send me over a copy of your troubleshooting info while the game is running? I'll post the steps below:

Thanks! Sadly it didn't help, game keeps jumping to the leftmost monitor. Here is the file you have asked for. Is it good, or do I need to switch DF to English for it to be more readable for you, sir? • Attachment [protected]: DisplayFusionDebugInfo.zip [38,322 bytes]

Thanks! Thank you for your response. At 04:00:01 I click on the game icon on a DF taskbar of my rightmost monitor, and it maximizes on my leftmost monitor, despite the fact that the game was previously opened on my middle monitor which is also set as the default monitor. • Attachment [protected]: DisplayFusionDebugInfo.zip [98,505 bytes]

I installed Beta 6 but no, it didn't help. The game switches monitors with and without "Force Display Fusion to treat this as a full screen application". The only thing that changed is the Battleeye Anticheat giving me this message when I start the game • Attachment [protected]: photo_2021-02-25_03-03-42.jpg [12,801 bytes]

Hello,
Interesting, if you head back into those compatibility settings and disable application hooks for that program, what happens? Thanks! 8 days ago

Hello,
Let me re-word my last message: if you head back into those compatibility settings, add that program, and check off "disable application hooks", what happens? Thanks! 5 days ago

I did that and battleye doesn't give me that warning anymore. Game still jumps to the first monitor with and without "treat app as a fullscreen app" thingy though. 5 days ago

Hello,
This is really strange, as it doesn't seem to be an issue with our hooks. I've added this to our list to look into and noted down your contact information. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it in the future. Thanks! 4 days ago
