I've monitor fading mode set to fade non-current monitors, which works well when I have a window in focus, but when I set the focus to the desktop, it un-fades display #1 instead of whichever display is set as primary or the display on which the desktop was clicked which is what I'd expect it to do. I have rearranged the cables connected to the GPU such that the monitor I want to be my primary display also identifies as #1, which fixes the issue of fading when clicking on the desktop, but now boot and UEFI displays on a side monitor instead of my main one. I've tried following https://superuser.com/a/1188100 to reassign display numbers without switching GPU ports, but to no avail. Is there a way I could have my primary monitor un-fade when focusing on the desktop and have that same monitor show the boot screen?

Hi Im having the same issue,
I was wondering if there has been any progress on fixing this or at least a way to force display fusion to fade a user selected monitor as if it was monitor 1

I have same issue for Windows 11. I tried both 9.9 and beta releases but it's same for the both.

This issue should be fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. Please let me know if you still run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
