i used the free vertion for the trial month and loved the program so i purchased it through steam how ever it will not launch and i cant figure out why. steam claims that dispalyfusion is running for about 5-10min without ever opening a window then just stops.
When you try to launch DisplayFusion do you see it appear in Task Manager?
Also just to confirm, you uninstalled the trial version before installing the Steam version? If not, try that and see if it fixes it. You can create a backup of your settings before uninstalling via the DisplayFusion Settings > Options > Export Settings.

yes i did uninstall the trail vertion
task manager is saying the Displayfusion is running even after steam has said that the application has stopped running. i had left the computer for an hour and no change task manager says its running steam says its not.
Does the DisplayFusion tray icon appear the entire time?

no it only apears when steam is trying to open or cliaming the program is running then once steam says it is not open it disapears.

this vertion works perfectly as long as i open it i independently from steam, if i try to open using the steam client it installs the lastest vertion over this and the same problem starts again. thanks for this work around so i can use the program again.
Interesting, can you try updating to our latest beta and let me know if the issue persists? Also what path do you have DisplayFusion installed to?
