I would love some way to create a hotkey to minimize all the windows on my system, except the active window. Sometimes I just need to focus on one task, and this would definitely help.
Being able to restore all of the previously visible windows, when focus time is over, would be great too.

Somehow I missed the follow-ups on this. If you haven't seen it already, the latest version of DisplayFusion has two new built-in Functions called "Minimize All Windows Except Current Window (All Monitors)" and "Minimize All Windows Except Current Window (Current Monitor)." Just assign a key combination to either one (or both) and you're all set.
