I'd like a setting to enable windows focus on hover (without raise) like xwindows does. Windows actually has this setting but it isn't exposed in any UI. (it was in msft tweakUI)
I currently use winaero xmouse tuner for this, but it would be nice if it was in displayfusion.

Thanks for the feature request! I've added it to our list, and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in a future version :)

There is a tiny little stand-alone program that exposes the Xmouse controls. That's all it does. It's freeware and available at:

I used to manually modify the registry until I came across this a couple years ago.

FFO ...game changer. Just what I was after.
Thank you!

win7 64-bit, DF 9.9 -tryout 2024

edit: only caveat so far is if you use Key command to move a window more than 1 monitor distance ...obviously after the first move the focus changes. Can set the delay longer to overcome this, but then need to balance with effectiveness of use (for me, editing in various documents on different screens -I oftentimes move the mouse over to a window and immediately begin typing /kind of thing.

edit/update2: unfortunately... I use a quicklaunch app wherein I issue a key command and the menu pops up under the cursor, and can do it on any screen, even when running DF. Unfortunately the XMC causes the menu to only popup on the primary monitor. Mostly Minor inconvenience, sometimes too annoying. I'll see how my workflow goes with it. (definitely a head turner, if ya know what I mean ;^)
