So a lot of people have asked MS for better sound support mainly by people, like me, that have multiple monitors'TV with built in hdmi sound support.

As most people in the know understand, you cant have multiple monitor and multiple sound support the way a lot would wish.

I thought possibly Displayfusion could incorporate the feature in it's software.

App Plays Sound On Same Monitor/hdmi Sound Device the application is running under.

A lot of people are starting to use the multiple video card and hdmi capability to attach multiple tv/monitor not to extend their desktop, a concept that we need to rethink, but as a means to set up multimedia systems in the house.

My setup is I go my big screen TV on hdmi1 and a smaller tv on hdmi2 which doubles as my monitor. The TV is in the corner of the room where my desktop is at my desk.

The problem is there is no solution to set up windows or so Youtube or Hulu plays BOTH IMAGE AND SOUND on my big screen TV while I play a game on my desktop. The Audio support for Window 8 is pathetic. How hard is it to make the application play the sound on the monitor it's running on. You cant!. You have to manually switch the hdmi output and then all the sounds play on the same hdmi device. Truly pathetic. So if I play a game and watch TB I can separate the 2.

Sure some more recent application can specify what hdmi device to play on but when you swith the application screen, you have to go and dig in the application settings to change it. Mainly though, web plugins like youtube and hulu don't support hdmi switching

Anyway. I was hoping Displayfusion should add this feature in it's next release.

It's an interesting idea! We're not sure if this is possible to do, but we'll certainly add it to our feature request list, and if we're able to implement it in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know :)

Thanks!

Update: Looks like it is indeed possible. Here's another application that will let you do it, if you're interested in checking it out :)

Yes, like that. except more streamline to my actions LOL.

Having to go and manually change the settings every time the windows changes monitor is truly painful even in this tool.

Maybe you guys could work together and merge the products!

Good day! I've just came across this issue and wanted to know, if this feature *sound to the monitor the app is running on* will be implemented?

Thank you in advance!

At the moment I can't guarantee it will be implemented, as it's still on our list for further investigation. We'll definitely post an update if/when we're able to implement it though :)

Thanks!
