Here's my current setup (see picture):

- Two nVidia Quadro 600 cards (DVI + DisplayPort each)

Four Monitors:
- Dell monitor plugged into primary card (DVI) = '1p'
- Dell monitor plugged into secondary card (DVI) = '3'
- a Flat TV into primary card (DisplayPort to HDMI) = '2' (Randon Slideshow, my photos)
- a HD Projetor into secondary card (DisplayPort to DVI) = '4'

When watching computer movies, projected on the wall (monitor 4), I would like to turn off (via software) both computer monitors (1p & 3).

The Flat TV (monitor 2) is easy: just power it off

But my computer monitors are also USB-Hubs, where the keyboard, mouse and FlashDrivers are connected. That's why turning then off won't work.

I would love to have this feature in Display Fusion Pro: 'Turn This [selected] Monitor Off' (sleep mode); Moving the mouse, or clicking any keyboard key would 'wake then up'

Could it be? Tks

ps: any suggestion would also be welcome

We can't implement your suggestion exactly, but with the Monitor Configuration and Monitor Profiles features, you should be able to achieve the desired result. Just save each monitor layout as a Monitor Profile, and then you can assign HotKeys to the profiles to make them easy to switch between. This way you can leave the monitors powered on, but they will not be enabled.

The only catch is that the programs on the monitors that are being disabled will move to the monitor that is enabled.

More info here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Help/#monitorconfig

Hope that helps!

Tks Keith for your prompt reply

But the catch is way too obstrusive.

I'll keep looking for a solution, like a configurable NirCmd 'Turn Off the Monitor'
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html
and desktop icon:

No worries! As far as I know, it's not possible to have selective monitors enter standby mode, but if you come across something that can do it, I'd love to hear about it for sure.

Thanks!
