Hi Jon,

Could you please make it possible to specify a custom window size when setting up an application to have its window forced onto a set monitor at startup?

Currently VS2010 does not like multi-monitor setups very much. I work with it spanned over two monitors, but it is really annoying having to do this every time it starts up.

Thanks!

Darren

If you download the latest beta:
http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

You can now assign a HotKey to run, instead of the preset options. Just create a HotKey with whatever size you need and assign it to the Window Location for VS2010 and voila! :)

Hi Jon,
Thanks for the ability to fix the location and size of an applications window.
In my workflow I have many windows open and really like the ability to automagically ;-) open each app in its 'home position'.

I just wanted to let you know that I don't think the current implemenation (fixing window locations via a hot key) is particularly intuitive nor elegant.

The problem (IMO) is that the proliferation of Hoy Key defintions (with no hot key ever being assigned to the action) is not realy logical, uninituitive and 'messy'

I would prefer that I adjust the window position of an application from the 'Window Location' dialog directly - rather than definining a hot key (that will never be bound to an actual key).

Thanks again for a great program and I hope you will accept this request in the spirit it is indended.
Regards,
Ivan

Good suggestion. I've added it to our feature request list.

Thanks!

Hi John,

Thanks!

I agree about the hot-key stuff posted by Ivan; however I already had a hot-key setup for the precise action I needed so it worked pretty well for me!

Again, thanks for keeping on adding features. Easily the best value I've ever got from such a small amount of money.

Cheers!
