I'd like to be able to assign 1 task bar to multiple virtual split monitors within the same physical monitor. My use case is to be able take advantage of easy maximizing of windows to half my real screen via a virtual split, but not to have duplicate task bars on one monitor.
I've only recently started using the virtual splits, and am currently auto-hiding the mid screen taskbars. The only thing I am missing is merging the buttons for running programs inside the top of the vvertical split showing up on the bottom split taskbar for my a perfect setup.
In the Monitor Configuration window, if you disable the "Taskbars" checkbox in the "Use these features with splits" section, that will make it use one taskbar for the physical monitor while still keeping the splits for maximizing windows
