I run Windows 7 with "Taskbar button: Never combine"
On DF taskbar buttons of the same executable can be rearranged independently = perfect
However on the main taskbar buttons of the same executable are "grouped" and cannot be rearranged independently = fail
This is apparently a feature new to Windows 7 that sucks
The request therefore is to have ungrouped buttons on the main taskbar

Unfortunately this isn't possible. We've looked at adding this feature in the past and could not find a way to do it.

Sorry!

You could try 7 Taskbar Tweaker: http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker

I haven't had a chance to test out that taskbar tweaker app yet but it looks like it would do the trick!

7 Taskbar Tweaker did exactly my request, thanks for the tip
I shall use this for now, but hopefully this can remain a feature request for a future DF release

DisplayFusion doesn't currently do any tweaks to the Windows 7 taskbar but if we do add them in the future, we'll make sure to put this feature on the list.

Thanks!

Great, I wasn't sure I understood it correctly :)

Hi,
just purchased the pro version some days ago because i really like the application even though it has some very small features which i really miss...

One of it fits into this thread, but seems to be quite the opposite from above statement...
I also use Win7 with taskbar buttons "never combine", but: I like the Win7 standard feature to even in that mode show the 'individual' buttons for each application window/session/instance in case of having the same executable next to each other, showing no gap inbetween and combining them into the same preview popup window.
On the DF taskbar however i could find no option to enable this behavior as well... did i miss an existing setting? or could this be added as kind of optional switch in one of the future versions? would be great...

@Christian: We actually received a similar request yesterday. I've added your vote to the request.

Thanks!
