I'm so fvcking sick of DisplayFusion. I've been using it for years, and sure, it has a lot of really cool features, but it's plagued with serious issues: crashes, stuttering in games... IF IT'S NOT ONE FVCKING THING, IT'S ANOTHER.

Now, since these 2 most recent 12.1 and 12.1.1 versions, which are supposed to be *non beta*, it just crashes and disappears from the system, and I am very suspicious that it is also causing general instability in my system.

And now comes the classic "generate a troubleshooting log and send it and yadda yadda"... I've been doing this crap for years. And I'm sick of being an unpaid 'beta tester', specially with 'final' versions that WORK WORSE THAN PREVIOUS BETAS.

Now where THE FVCK can I just download the last beta version, which worked much better?

Sorry to hear! I've attached a link to the last beta below if you would like to roll back.

If you would like us to look into the crash, can you send us the latest dump from this path for DisplayFusion: C:\Users\(YourUser)\AppData\Local\CrashDumps

Thanks!

It crashed again. No .dmp, and when I launched it again an tried to go to the Troubleshooting section, it keeps stuck in this state, with the circle going round and round:

and it's been like this for more than *half an hour*, the DF functions don't work, and *it doesn't even Exit*. I had to terminate the process in Task Manager.

Another amazing surprise in the form of a new error that never ever showed up before in all these years:

that totally froze my entire system for 2 minutes, then crashed my browser (Vivaldi/Chromium) and left the system so unstable I had to do a reboot.

Here is the debug log.

Which btw is another issue itself, because 6GB in crash dump files on an fairly obscure folder? that's not acceptable without the knowledge of the user.

I'm sorry to hear you're having these crashing issues! This one is very strange but the dump files do help. I think we have a fix in place for the upcoming 12.1.2 Beta 1 but I was wondering if you can try something else in the meantime. I see that you have Windhawk loaded, can you try disabling Windhawk, reboot your PC, then see if the DisplayFusion crashes continue? Thanks!
