I just did a fresh install of windows and now every time I install DF my offices apps and windows explorer go crazy flashing not responding. Behavior stops once I uninstall DF. Any ideas?

If you open up the Display Fusion settings and head to the compatibility tab, add "All applications", and check off "Disable Application Hooks", does the issue persist?
