Hello

So I have one ultrawide monitor, that I've split into three section, 1280x1440, 2560x1440, 1280x1440.

It works great, however, when launching a fullscreen game like say rocket league, how do I make it stay inside one of the three splits? In my case, I'd like it inside the largest 2560x1440 section.

Thanks! :)

Hello,

Unfortunately, this isn't possible. Native full screen games always output to the full resolution of the main monitor. You can however set it to windowed mode and adjust it, although I understand that may not be ideal.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Was wondering if this will be a feature in any future update to display fusion?

Hi Dustin,

Unfortunately, this isn't really a setting we have control over, so it's not something a future update will be able to fix.

Thanks!

Hi Owen, I have the same thought. Too bad that this can not be implemented. However, would it be possible to remove the title bar for a selected program in windowed mode?

Hello,

We have a scripted function in our repository that can do this called "Toggle Border and Caption From Window". You can download it from the scripted functions button in Display Fusion.

Thanks!

Sorry to jump in here, but I have a similar question and thought this would be the perfect answer. However, I downloaded the Script you mentioned and part of the window is hidden behind the taskbar at the bottom of the screen now.

It does get rid of the title bar and resizes the window, but the new window size goes below the taskbar every time.

Do you have any more tricks that might help me? :)

Hello,

If you aren't already, can you try updating to our latest beta and see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

Hello,

Is this only happening with certain applications, or all applications? Also, is this happening on the Windows taskbar, DisplayFusion taskbar, or both?

Thanks!

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks for sending that over.

1) Could you update to our latest beta and see if the issue persists? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

2) The script doesn't toggle the borders, it just removes them. I'm not sure if it's possible to set that up to toggle it instead, but I'll touch base with our developers and see if there's anything we can do there.

Thanks!

Splitgate, valorant pretty much any game you see I use a 4k 50" tv as a monitor so to play games i'm using this software to shrink it down to just part of the tv and run other stuff with the rest of my tv space

Strange, windows are still dropping on beta 16? If you restart Explorer.exe when the issue happens, does that fix it up?

Thanks!
