I have set a trigger to move a game to my 2nd monitor, which is a 16:9 TV. Every time the game opens, it is setting the resolution in-game to my monitor which is 3440x1440, so when the game moves to the 2nd monitor, the resolution is wrong and the game is only filling part of the screen. Once it gets through all the intro stuff and I can actually click into the game it automatically jumps back to the correct 16:9 resolution it is set to in-game. It just has to run through all of the intro scenes before I can click on it and make it fill the screen. Is there a way to correct this?

Hello,

Do you have the game running in Fullscreen, or in windowed/borderless windowed mode?

Thanks!

It is borderless.

Hello,

Could you send me over a screenshot of your trigger settings?

Also, does it happen with any other games, or just one?

Thanks!

It seems to be specific to this game. I have tried a few different trigger settings with no change, but here is the last setup I tried.

Hello,

Thanks for sending that over. Could you try using the "Move window to selected monitor" action, and then the "Maximize Window" action, and see if the issue persists?

Let me know how that works!

That has the same outcome. It flashes black on monitor 1 then opens on monitor 2 in part of the screen, obviously in the wrong resolution. A single click on the window pops it into borderless with the correct resolution.

Hello,

Interesting, If you exit DisplayFusion, does the game open at the 3440x1440 resolution still?

Thanks!

If I exit DisplayFusion the game opens on monitor 1 instead. The resolution is still set to 3840x2160p so it doesn't fit my 3440x1440 monitor properly.

Hello,

That's really strange, it sounds like the game is forcing the resolution whether DisplayFusion is running or not. Unfortunately this isn't something we can fix on our end.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Not a huge deal. Thank you for trying.
