Recently my Displayfusion quit updating my background photos from my Google Photos account.

When I try to update the cache, I get an error stating " Google Photos: An error occurred while loading the Images: API failed to return results"

Did Google Photos change the API? or is there something up with Displayfusions desktop Wallpaper app?

The did finally retire the old API, yep! We've just posted DisplayFusion 9.5 Beta 1 and it now uses the new API, though Google has removed some features from it (text search and visibility setting).

Thanks for the update,

Is it possible to get the new version through Steam?

I'm not sure how the stand alone version would work, or if there is a way to verify my steam purchase with this downloaded version.

Thanks...love this App. The timed Desktop Background function has worked great for my family. All of our pics end up on my huge monitor, and it's a blast for all my toddlers and my wife to view our family pics. It's a centerpiece of our daily routine.

Thanks for the kind words! On the DisplayFusion Settings > Options tab, you can enable the "Check for new beta versions" option and update that way. It will keep you Steam license and settings intact :)
