Hello,

Since upgrading to v3.4.1 I have been experiencing high CPU utilization. Is there a place that I can download the v3.4.0? I thought I had a copy of it but can't seem to find it. It seems as though some other users are experiencing the same so I won't start another thread but will add to that one. I have also downloaded the v3.5.0 Beta 2 but still have the same issue.

BTW guys I want to extend my thanks for developing this. I literally am to the point where it is difficult for me to work without it. I have been using DF for a little over two years and I have turned numerous users on to it! Keep up the good work.

Glad to hear you like DisplayFusion Marco! Sorry to hear about the high CPU issues though :(

You can grab a copy of DisplayFusion 3.4 to use for now from here: http://www.binaryfortress.com/Files/DisplayFusionSetup-3.4.0.exe

Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks Keith. I am hoping to get you a logfile shortly for the 3.5 Beta 2 version I am using. Hopefully that may help you.

DisplayFusion 3.5 Beta 5 is now available. Could you give it a try when you have a chance?

If the CPU usage is still high, could you let me know if it is always running high, or if it seems to creep up after time?

Thanks!

Will do Keith. I can tell you that with the previous versions it creeped up slow for me. I have had to kill it twice today because it crept up to 80-90%. I will load this one tonight and let you know.

Thanks again for all the assistance!

No problem! Do you by any chance have WindowBlinds or Bins installed?

Yes I have BINS installed and was actually thinking there may have bin an issue with that application (There was an update not too long ago). Also my collegue also uses DF and he is not having any issues and also NOT using BINS

This morning I completely uninstalled DF and rebooted with my M$ patches. I then did a fresh install and up to know it is runnig ok. It usually takes it a bit though for the CPU to creep up and eventually will consume ~80-90%.

Need me to do any testing without BINS? Let me know and I will be happy to help.

Yep, there's definitely some sort of incompatibility. I'll be sure to post an update when I have one.

Thanks!

The Bins developer has posted a new version at the link below that fixes up the incompatibility between DisplayFusion and Bins.

Thank you Keith. I grabbed it some time ago and everything is going good up to this point. I just installed DF Beta 10 also.

Thanks for the follow up.
