I've uninstalled and installed it back, and my settings are still the same, there is no prompt to do a clean uninstall

Did you receive a prompt to restore a backup when you reinstalled DisplayFusion? If you head to "C:\Users\(YourUser)\Documents\DisplayFusion Backups", is anything listed there?
