I used to use this app (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/54842-taskbar-always-top-disable-enable.html) to bring back some functionality that has been part of Windows for some fifteen years. The hack no longer works with the Windows 7 SP1. :(

I want to use my entire desktop for the apps that I’m working on and I hate the Auto-hide. When I’m drawing or using any program full screen I’m always bumping the bottom of the screen and causing the taskbar to pop up, I can’t stand it. Can this be done with DisplayFusion?

Thanks.

Unfortunately we don't manipulate the original Windows 7 taskbar. I actually never even noticed that they took out the "Always on Top" option for it, but I can see how that would be annoying if you want to use your entire screen for apps.

Hopefully the maker of the tool you posted will update it soon :)

Sorry, I was wondering if the functionality was or could be part of the DF taskbar as that was what I was really asking. I had noticed that none of the DF Taskbar settings seemed to do anything to the Windows 7 taskbar. The thought being, I could use the DF taskbar on the screen I’m working on. Feature request?

Ah gotcha. I've added it to our feature request list and I'll follow up with you when we've added it to a beta version so that you can test it out.

Thanks!
