Hi,

Just got the latest display fusion today (7.1) and one of the main reasons I wanted it was due to being able to save monitor profiles and also having the icon profile linked to this.

So it's on my laptop which has dual displays, and I undock it to a single display. When I re-dock the icon profile doesn't load automatically but I can live with that. When I load it manually, the icons all move to the saved positions ... great. But as soon as I move an icon or something else on the desktop, they all shift across to my right screen in a random pattern, which is how they were when I first re-docked the laptop.

Any idea what's going on please?

Edit: This is on Windows 7 64bit.

Have you tried assigning your Desktop Icon Profile to your Monitor Profile? Instructions on how to do that can be found here: http://www.displayfusion.com/KB/MonitorProfiles/#autoloadwallpaperanddesktopicons

Also, regarding the icons jumping after you move one of them, are you by any chance running Stardock Fences?

Hi Keith,

Yes I have linked the icon profile to the monitor profile. And yes I am running fences. I guess the next thing you will say is that the two products aren't compatible?

More or less, yeah :(

We have an open ticket for this issue, and we're going to look into it to see if there's anything we can do from our end. If not, we'll email our contact at Stardock to see if it's something they can look into :)

I'll definitely let you know if either us, or Stardock (or both) is able to get it fixed up in a future version :)
