Hi. I just discovered your site and software by googling Window Snapping. Display Fusion sounds interesting, but I have a question about functionality. I don't know if this is even possible in Windows, but I've wondered about it for a while now and maybe the experts here can answer it.

I have previously used several X11 window managers (on Linux) and fell in love with some of the functionality. Snapping to the edges of the screens is always nice (and I see that you have that in Display Fusion), but what I really miss is the snapping between windows themselves. Does display fusion also enable this?

Excellent, thank you for the heads up. I'm a patient guy so I'm not bothered in the least. I should probably say that I'm also using windows 7 x64. I know that can have an effect on the answer sometimes. I recently discovered a solution that is supposed to achieve what I described above, but it doesn't seem to work properly. It would be great if Display Fusion did indeed support it.

Thanks again!

I know that more than one person has requested this (or a very similar feature) but I cannot answer whether Jon is looking to enable that or not. However, he is back now, as I have a new Beta build, so I'll see if he will respond too this post.

Hi cius,

the best I can do for you right now is confirm that this feature is not in our development road map - however I think its a cool idea - we will add it to our feature idea list.

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. Thanks! :)
