Using Windows 7 64bit, Internet Explorer version 9, and Display Fusion 4.2.0 (beta 6) download a file with Internet Explorer, and give another program focus while the download is happening.

When the download has finished, the Internet Explorer taskbar entry will flash briefly on the main taskbar to inform you the download has finished. If Internet Explorer is on my second monitor then the entry on the taskbar will flash "endlessly". It never seems to stop flashing on its own, only when I give Internet Explorer focus.

Not exactly a big problem, but it gets a little irritating after a while. Hopefully easy enough to reproduce :)

Could you try setting the "Taskbar > Highlighted Buttons Blink" option in the Advanced Settings to "Taskbar buttons never blink?"

The wording of that setting doesn't actually make sense. Setting that option should make them blink, but not indefinitely :)

Thanks!

This has fixed the problem, just like that :) Thank you very much, I do like it when problems are this easy to solve :)
