Hi,
I know you can change the Lock Screen wallpaper, but is there a feature to change the PIN login wallpaper as well?
If not available right now, is there a way to do it manually?

Hopefully this can be added as a feature in the future.

We've put this on our feature request list, but in the meantime, this app should be able to do it: https://github.com/PFCKrutonium/Windows-10-Login-Background-Changer

Hope that helps!

Hey guys,

I know you have actual issues to solve since the Windows 10 release, but I'm here to request a feature: I want to change the default Windows 10 Log-on screen wallpaper. It currently is stuck as the default windows 10 logo, and doesn't appear to have a setting in either Windows 10 settings or in Display Fusion to change it.

I know there is a piece of software that will do it: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/change-the-login-screen-background-in-windows-10/

Thanks!

@Janika: Merged with another topic. This is on our feature request list, so I've added your vote :)

Thanks!

I want to add that the linked Background Changer is not recommended anymore due to a recent Windows 10 update. Some people are getting constant flickering on startup and cannot access the login screen. There is a fix: https://github.com/PFCKrutonium/Windows-10-Login-Background-Changer/issues/186, but it doesn't always work. It did not work for me and I had to reformat, so I don't recommend using it until Windows 10 updates and adds a feature for it.

I assume dbert721 is referring to this news: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2016/03/04/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-14279/

Quote:
Previously on PC, there were two separate backgrounds for the Lock screen and then the logon screen. We’re merging the experience so there is just a single background – your Lock screen background. This is similar to the behavior seen on mobile. If you have a custom Lock screen background set, you will see your Lock screen background is now used for both the Lock screen and logon screen.

I'm not on the Insider track so I have no clue how it interacts with DF.

Interesting! We'll give build 14279 a go and see how it looks.

It doesn't look like it's possible to change the password screen background any more. The only options are to either set the password screen background to match the lock screen image, or have it just use the selected accent colour.
