I'd like the taskbar to show on three of my four monitors but can't figure out how to make it happen. Thanks.

I'll take silence as a "No, it's not possible".

Sorry for the delay, but right now it's not possible. With the next version it will be possible to mark one taskbar as disabled but still have others on different monitors. :) I expect a beta to be released with this functionality in 4-6 weeks.

No problem Jon. Thanks for the reply.
I just wanted to be sure it wasn't already implemented and I couldn't figure out how to do it. :-)

Just tried the "Disabled" functionality for a specific taskbar with 3.1.8.102 (Beta 2) and it's working great! There's a lot of flashing/flickering/resetting of all the taskbars when the setting is first enabled, but after it settles down it hides the desired taskbar without any distinguishable bugs. This is awesome. Thanks!

OK, I didn't realize the apps on the monitor with a hidden taskbar actually show on the Windows default taskbar.
My preferred behavior would be that the taskbar buttons for apps on the hidden taskbar monitor do not show up on any taskbar. Option maybe?

If anything that would be an advanced option, may I ask why you would want this odd behavior?

I'm using an http://www.mimomonitors.com/products/imo as an "extended system tray".
It sits below just below the system tray on my main monitor and holds the windows Pandora app, my file sync app, a Winamp controller, and a small timer app. There's no need to switch between the apps as they all fit on the screen for quick access; which is the normal reason one wants an app to show up in the taskbar. However, the screen is so small I'd like to utilize every inch of it.

Come to think if it, the feature I'm really asking for is "Auto-hide the taskbar" on a per taskbar basis. That would fit in with general Windows taskbar behavior and solve my use case. Thoughts?

Beta 3 is out, and you can now exclude taskbars from certain monitors. Just right-click the taskbar on the monitor you want to exclude, and select "Taskbar Position > Disabled". Voila! :) To restore the taskbars, just open the Settings window, go to the Taskbars tab and select "Reset".

Hey Jon. It's a great feature. Thanks!
Please read my comments starting 4 posts above this one for my feedback. I was using Beta 3 at the time.

Per taskbar Auto-hide feature of Beta 4 is working great. Thanks!
I love your user focused iterative development process.

I'm glad to hear the per-monitor disabling is working out. As for hiding apps that don't appear on a DF taskbar, this is something that is currently not possible, and not planned for a future version, sorry. :(

There's no need now that the toolbars can be hidden on an individual basis. Thanks again.
