I'm testing out DisplayFusion with the thought of converting over from WinSplit. In general I'm loving it but have encountered a few strange behaviors. One seems to be well known. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro. My license is for an old version (9.0) which doesn't appear to have options for disabling the sandbox feature. The other is a program I use daily called Ant Renamer. This is a simple freeware program that doesn't have any special security settings. I can't find mention of it in the forums but is there a known list and/or any place to inquire what might be causing a program to not work?

Specifically I'm using hotkeys to move the active window to top/bottom/left/wide and quadrants. Works fine with most everything I've tried it on but Acrobat and Ant Renamer more or less go to random places.

Thanks for any insights!

We don't have a central list, but there shouldn't be too many programs that are incompatible. Adobe Acrobat 9 is one of them though unfortunately.

Ant Renamer seems to be working for me when I test it here. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks Keith! I just did a full shutdown reboot and confirmed Ant Renamer still behaves as described. I am attaching my diagnostic info here.

In case this is helpful I made a short video of the difference between hotkeys acting on Notepad vs Ant Renamer:

Very grateful for any suggestions, thanks!

Thanks! It looks like Ant Renamer has an issue with the font scaling being higher than 100%. If you enable the option in the attached screenshot for Ant Renamer, that seems to fix it up :)

Wow, thanks! That sure did the trick! That turned out to be at least 50% support of a *different* software product so I'd call that well above and beyond. I'm only a few days into my DF trial but I'll be purchasing today. Thanks!
